I thought I would share some memories to bring you up to date in my life and the lives and talents of my incredibly special friends.

Thoughts of how the planet is now, challenging and adventuresome… brings back memories… such as our road trip from Port Alberni B.C. to Florida.

Our purpose was to meet all of the wonderful Lightworking friends I had met through my involvement in various Spiritual and teaching activities, and my plan was to visit all of them from here to Florida and back.

My husband Daniel, of 29 years, is into restoring old hot rod cars and so we decided to time it around the famous Barrett Jackson car auction which we had never been to… and the Daytona 500 in Florida.  Now that’s a good bribe to get him to drive me to see all of my Famous Spiritual friends !!

Here are Excerpts of the trip which I will of course include and name drop my famous friends who we visited. Here is the short excerpt of the trip with major exciting details below…

We toured Las Vegas to see my friends Sue and Steven Segal, then off to Spectacular Sedona, hiking up Cathedral Rock.

Then our famous Herbalist friend Steven Horne took us through a tour of Zion Canyon. We visited the author of The Iridology Handbook, Kianna Smith, of  Serenity Enterprises, who teaches at The Crossings Center in Austin Texas.

We attended the last Mardi Gras before Katrina… I am so glad we were able to attend that… as I am able to fully comprehend their loss… and send Light to all affected with a clear focus.

Then we visited with my friend Dr. Kim Balas who used to work for NASA and is now an instructor for Nature’s Sunshine Products and a Naturopath.

We visited Gabrielle Silva in Boulder at an incredible place called the Star House, another friend of mine Ron La Place of the Flower of Life Workshops, friend of Drunvalo Melchezidek who also lives in Boulder.

The details are incredibly funny, amazing and exciting and … as my friends tell me… the best laugh they have had in a long time !!!

Here is the funny and true version of the most amazing trip…. Get a cup of tea and get ready for “The Ride” !!

Jan 21- 05 We got going with the usual chaos I have in my life… but of course I am the cause :) I just love to have excitement all around me !!

You must have seen us on the news…
Portland had freezing rain that turned into sheets of ice all along I-5 ….solid ice going over the bridges … do you know how many bridges you have to go over in Portland ??  too many !!  it was like someone dropped a sheet of ice all along the  I-5.. there was no way to get off the freeway because the side roads & exits were worse and on a slant … guaranteed to put you in the ditch   …cars everywhere, semi trucks slid all over …people just stopping on the side of the freeway jumping out of their cars cause they were too afraid to drive…. and just leaving them there.. sheets of ice flying off the tops of roofs of other cars flying at us !!
Thank goodness daniel is an expert driver.. slow and steady we wove our way through..  and of course I really helped.. gasping and shrieking at everyone and anyone that came near us… I was such a big help soothing Daniels nerves by gasping !! lol… We made it though.  With white light and Daniels skills we just kept going.. I wanted so badly to just pull off and get a motel.. but it was even more dangerous.. it was sheer ice all over everywhere so the freeway was the safest place to be. Daniel was taking on the big semi trucks & dodge rams with our little Toyota Chili… Hang on !! Mr. Toads wild ride here we come !!  :)

Vegas was beautiful sunny & lots of fun.  We stayed with our friends Sue & Steve Segal… yes Steven Segal.. no not really but that is his name :)  Sue does Grief Counseling through drawing and what she calls her Art Therapy.  Sues email is segal5@cox.net phone is 702 595-1444

Then our friend Steven Horne the past president of The American Herablist Guild and owner of Tree Of Light Publishing St. George, Utah 1-800-416-2887 treelite@treelite.com took us on a sightseeing tour through Zion Canyon. It was incredible.   Daniel and Steven Horne

Then we were on our way to Quartzsite to see the HUGE rock and crystal show… and it was absolutely incredible.  Zillions of rocks in miles of tents… Crystals the size of Volkswagens !!! I loved it … it was incredible !!!

From there it was off to Scottsdale Arizona to the Barrett Jackson Car Auction.  Here is my excerpt… “Here we are at Barrett Jackson Car Auction !! we got here last night to Scottsdale Arizona and went to the Gala opening festivities….last night.
OH My Gosh… Oh My Gosh…. did I say oh my gosh ?? !!
It was amazing and fantastic.. talk about sequins and rhinestones and carat diamonds all over the place !! It was unbelievably cool !!

I am so glad I brought my best New Years eve dress… I wasn’t sure what to expect so I just wore a long black shirt & nice top but stuffed my sequined evening dress in a little bag just in case… you never know..
So as soon as we got in the door… I whipped my butt into the bathroom to throw on my evening gown before anyone saw me !!
And.. the bathroom !!! You wont believe this …the porta potties are trailers with Oak cabinets,  beautiful paintings, curtains, flushing roomy bathroom stalls it was the most beautiful bathroom I have ever seen and here it is a porta potty trailer !! I wanted to take a picture !!   Classy Classy all the way !!  There was a three foot high fountains flowing with CHOCOLATE !!!  Oh my god !! and the waiters and waitresses were all in black suits and ties and handing you strawberries and angel food cake that they had gently touched into the flowing chocolate.. !!! wow !! and or course ladies walking around offering wine and a free fully stocked bar and food, food, food  !!   Gourmet everything from the finest restaurants !!  After 5 days at the Barrett Jackson Auction… we finally left …sigh… and without buying a car of course.

We arrived in Sedona about 2pm.  We found a really nice motel, with a spectacular view of  the incredible Red Rock mountain formations. We booked a 2 1/2 hour jeep tour of the incredible spiritual vortexes here !! We went to see the catholic church built into a mountain crevice. The guide was a woman who is very spiritual and probably as strange as I am :0)  she told us all about the spiritual aspects of the vortexes and also the scientific research done around them and the electromagnetic fields.

As my life goes… always an adventure.  We were stopped at the biggest most incredible vortex and ready to leave at dusk… it had just snowed  and it was very cold.  The jeep tours are open jeeps, no windows at all, so she had brought blankets for the ride.  But just as we were going to leave before dark, the battery died. Since we were the last ones out of the park there was no one around to help us and it was getting dark and very cold… with no warm vehicle to sit in.  I of course had my fanny pack miniature earthquake kit with me, but thought it was a bit premature to bring it up at that point. So anyway she phoned her boss of the jeep company and he wasn’t there so his wife said she would bring jumper cables.. 10 minutes later she phoned back and said an emergency had come up and she couldn’t make it.. I just smiled.. I know …I know.. none of my friends will travel with me anymore ! Daniel says he has no choice !

So finally another guy from the jeep company came with cables and we got home an hour and a half later than we were supposed to.  The ride in the dark in an open jeep with  a light dusting of snow on the ground was refreshing to say the least

Actually it was incredibly beautiful to be out at the vortex as it grew dark. The next morning Daniel wanted to climb Cathedral Rock.  At one point it was straight up and I managed to wedge my body in the crack/crevice of the side of the mountain and inched up.. bit by bit… then we got to Saddle … a thin about 4 feet wide thin piece of rock between these two incredible huge rocks monuments about 7 thousand feet high. It was only four feet wide and the wind was so strong it was almost knocking us over !!  Daniel said lay down and look up.. the two huge pillars of stone were on either side of us.. and still hundreds of feet up.. no !! no looking up!!! that was worse !!

I really started to swirl.. I couldn’t look anywhere but at Daniel or I was starting to get really dizzy… we had forgotten water and so were dehydrated too… so I sat and stared at him while he took  pictures just thinking it was all so cool.. which it was.  A place to meditate

We did the Merkaba meditation while up there, it was amazing and the wind calmed.  I slid down the cliffs on my butt most of the way.. my jeans are shot I had a skinned knee..

Daniel had cactus pricks in his legs… but what an adventure.   Daniel and I at Cathedral Rock

The next day we decided to go south.. take the southern route through Southern New Mexico instead… on the way here we stopped in Tucson Arizona and oh WOW !! We accidentally ran into the Tucson Rock and gem show !! Acres of crystals and stones and everything.. !!!! Beads jewelry rocks stones, everything .. I mean acres  !!!   I went on sensory overload !  Nothing like dragging 300 extra pounds in rocks all the way to Florida !!  Daniel just kept telling me… you might as well get the ones you want now…you never know when we will be back … what a sweetie !!

Then we spent the night in Deming New Mexico.. I wanted to travel north from here to Roswell  to see if we could catch any UFOs but time wise it didn’t fit into our schedule.  Roswell NM

Meanwhile that tooth I had worked on before I left was flaring up !! sheer unbearable pain.. oh no… I will not have a root canal !!  I will just tell them to pull the sucker out !! It will add to my wild look :) actually my herbs were keeping it at bay… luckily all my friends in the U.S. are herbalists too with lots of stock on hand :)

We then left for Austin Texas.  We were 1 mile away from Kianna’s house and lost for an hour an a half… man oh man don’t try to find anything in Texas. Daniel wanted to take a back road to shave off an hour… but even the Texans warned us.. DO NOT take shortcuts in Texas !!  If the Texans are saying that… then we should have listened.   so… yeahaww!!!  We finally got to Kianna and Nathan Smiths.

Kianna wrote the Iridology Handbook which is the only approved instructions manual at this time for the International Iridology Practitioners Association.  We stayed at her Serenity Enterprises Center and visited the Spiritual Center where she teaches as well.

The Crossings in Austin which is an affiliate of the Omega Institute in New York. When we left Austin we stopped at a Tourist information on the highway.. to find out what to do in New Orleans since we heard on the new Mardi Gras was the week before so we thought.. well.. we’ll catch the leftovers..

Well…
The tourist information said it’s Tomorrow !! FAT TUESDAY !!
OH MY GOSH !!! We were going right on Mardi Gras day !!! wow !! We never even knew when Mardi Gras was !! What are the chances of it being the exact day we plan to be there !!! ???? Midnight madness at Mardi Gras !!!  It was an Alfred Hitchcock night !!Well…. we found our hotel in the French Quarter… but too late !!! Mardi Gras parades were starting !!! you don’t park near the hotels in the French quarter… there is no room for cars… so here it is dark and fireworks and firecrackers and sirens and people and police everywhere and we had to drag every piece of our luggage down the street through the crowds where everyone said to take your jewelry off and here we are with everything we own dragging it through the streets of millions of screaming yelling people…
then… it gets worse !!  We got our stuff in the hotel room and had to park 5 blocks away.. well.. they had closed all the streets from about 6 blocks all around where we were suppose to park.. everywhere is a 1  way street and we kept getting pushed further and further away from where we were suppose to park because there were blockades being put up everywhere and the police wouldn’t let us through till after the parade. Our hotel was right in the middle of the parade and in my panic of getting all of our stuff into the hotel room I forgot to grab my cell phone when we went to park the car.  So I couldn’t phone the hotel to tell them we could not get anywhere near the parking or the hotel and Daniel didn’t want me running 6 blocks through the screaming crowd to try to find the hotel. So we drove around and around the 1 way streets trying to get someone to let us through a blockade for … no kidding.. 3 HOURS !!  We were so tired and exhausted and sort of freaked out.  Here we are, not able to get anywhere near the parking or the hotel or our stuff !! It was a night out of the twilight zone !!  We finally got within 3 blocks of the hotel by going the wrong way down the 1 way streets… we had to chance it.  By this time of driving around the city for 3 hours I knew the streets pretty good.  So I left Daniel parked on the 1 way street the wrong way and jumped out to run 3 blocks through the crowd to get to the hotel.  Daniel was freaked out cause he wasn’t reading the map, I was while he was driving, and he had no idea where the hotel was or where I was going.   I gave him the phone number of the hotel and said if the police make him move or I am not back in half an hour go to a phone booth and call the hotel.   Well I ran like hell through the crowds and to get to the hotel before the police made him move once again to who knows how much further away from the French Quarter !! I finally got to the hotel who were terribly sorry and they would set it up for the police to let us through the barricades.  We finally got through the drunken beer bottle carrying crowds … had to drive through millions of people dancing in the streets and I thought for sure someone would kick the car… it was like driving in the middle of a riot !!  We got  the car parked and walked back through the crowds, got to the hotel.. peeked out the windows and listened to the screaming drunken crowds and sirens and went to bed exhausted.  I am sure Daniel will never travel with me again now.Feb 9 Fat Tuesday !! Well… we woke up and out we went.
Well……. it was like nothing I have ever seen before… at 10 am the streets were crowded.. Everyone had cameras and there was lots to take pictures of !!  I will just attempt to describe it that its just like you see on TV but a million times magnified !!  The funny thing is… I had no idea what Mardi Gras was all about. Daniel immediately took me into one of the zillion tourist shops on the streets and bought me a purple boa and a mask and then we walked down the middle of the streets learning how to catch beads.. you look up and walk and hope to catch them instead of getting hit on the head with them.. there are all kinds of fancy shiny beads with all kinds of ornaments on them.. but there’s a catch !! the whole city’s slogan is Show Me Your T*ts !  Needless to say I only got the plain beads because I was not lifting my top. Daniel got some good ones cause the women bead throwers though he was cute…. Not fair that men don’t have to lift their tops !! The costumes and clothes… or lack of them and painted naked people was incredible…we both got about 12 pounds worth of beads hanging around our necks by 4 o’clock and went back to the room to dump them off and go for more !! It was nuts… I soon learned to not smile as I was looking up at the people to catch the beads.. I got hit in the teeth once and only got hit in the head a few times :) It was insane and way too much fun.  !!   Mardi Gras Party TimeBourbon Street Beads
Me in my Mask with my Boa   I was incredibly saddened when Katrina hit… of course I was especially compassionate for devastation of the people… but also for the damage done to the event they are so proud of.   I am so glad we were able to attend that… as I am able to fully comprehend their loss… and therefore send even more healing energy to their beautiful city. We stayed two days and then went to Florida  to stay with my friend Dr. Kim Balas who used to work for NASA and is now an instructor for Natures Sunshine Products and a Naturopath.  She also is the founder and creator of the Biochemical Blood Analysis Software programs. Her contact phone is 307 277-2466.  In Florida I also went swimming with the dolphins and it was wonderful.   Georgina and SamanthaWe had a cruise booked for the Bahamas… but unfortunately we both got sick.. some weird flu… ( maybe got it in New Orleans ) And then we stayed 10 days in Florida did Disneyworld etc and walked on Cocoa Beach  for Valentines day and ended our visit in Florida by going to the Daytona 500We then drove to Boulder Colorado to see another good friend Gabrielle Silva who is the founder of Ragananda… the worlds first Chakra Rag Doll, who lives in the Heart with Wings Theater.  Gabrielle also channels music and made the background CD for my animal Communication Correspondence Courses.  Her website is www.ragananda.com 303 443-3532. We were also to meet up with another good friend Ron La Place who teaches Flower of Life Workshops. His website is www.ronlaplace.com  1 303 800-5499 soloman555@hotmail.com I loved Boulder !! It is an amazing place.    George in Star TetrahedronAfter we arrived home we had good friends come from Japan (Kayoko Monomura), Italy, (Claudia Oliva), England ( Peter) they came together J,  Sarah Montoro from California,  Suzanne West from Calgary and Kim Balas from Florida.  Deb Barber my close friend and assistant Animal Communicator and her husband Sam and father Wally came from Alberta.
