I was flying to Las Vegas for an International Iridology Association Iridology Symposium and Iridology Instructors meeting, and left from Victoria B.C to Alberta for a 3 hour stop over on the way to Vegas.
The flight to Calgary was very turbulent.. and because I tend to get sea sick and car sick I was a little queasy and asked the Angels to steady the plane. The plane then miraculously got very smooth and all was good… for about 5 minutes…. Then it got rough again.
I again asked the Angels to steady the wings and visualized it to hold my intent… wonerding if the first request was simply no air pockets, and not my angels doing anything. Well again the plane was smooth and then after about 5 minutes… it started bouncing again. I then thought ok this is giving me confirmation that I am actually doing this… this steadying of the plane by asking the angels to come. So I did it again and again the ride got instantly smooth…. But again only for about 5 minutes. I ended up having to breathe deeply and visualize angels every 5 minutes nonstop for the whole 2 hour flight !! As soon as I stopped… the turbulence would come back.
Talk about asking for confirmation and then doubting the angels power !!! by the time I landed… I was exhausted phyiscally but mentally refreshed. I was able to spend the 3 hour wait doing animal communications for my list of waiting clients. Little did I know what was to come… sometimes I think I am not very psychic !! lol…
I boarded the plane and we taxied out onto the runway and sat… and sat…. after 30 minutes we noticed it was raining very hard outside the plane. The pilot came on and said that there was a sudden Lightening storm coming over the airport and we had to wait for it to pass.
Well then there was Lightening and thunder and Lightening and then the plane lights flashed and crackled and then the pilot came on and said we are all fine, we just need to wait for it to pass.
Everyone was taking turns gasping and shrieking at every Lightening strike outside our windows because the Lightening was right over us !! and stayed RIGHT over the Airplane !! I began to wonder if I had disturbed too many angels
Then the pilot announced that the Airport had been hit by lightening and had a power failure and it was now a red alert and was shut down !!! For another 2 more hours we sat… and the Lightening and clouds did not move !!
Finally the pilot came on and said that there was about a 50 meter strip on the north end of the airport and we were going to take off out of there between Lightening strikes !!! yikes !!! So I rallied all the angels I could and did my Merkaba meditation about 10 times… wrapped the plane up in White Light and away we went … jerking and careening through the cells of clouds and wind and Lightening… I decided in between doing meditations to leave my body… at that point I was comfortable with not needing to do anything more.Whew.. after about 30 minutes it smoothed out a bit… there was a bit of turbulence but nothing compared to the days events
Smoothly sailing or so I thought….. drinking the free booze the airline offered us to compensate for the wait and the frazzled nerves… I relaxed. ( someone was snickering at my confidence and sigh of relief I am sure ….)
So…. we start the descent into Vegas and they are having a 100 mile an hour windstorm… great I sighed… and Hollee…. Myolleee…… hang on to your drinks and hat… drinks taken away asap and what a ride… up down and sideways we flipped and twisted and flopped and did twirlabouts and dives for about 40 minutes and I again recruited some very tired Angels… and they jumped on the wings and managed to get us to bounce onto the runway without popping the tires !!!
Everyone clapped and some cried.
I was of course 4 hours later than I was supposed to be and a very tired but dedicated Sue Segal picked me up at the airport at 1 am.
As I walked out of the doors of the airport… it was so windy the palm trees were bent right over.. there were leaves flying through the air and of course with my suitcases in tow… trying to see though my flying hair… my dress flew up over my head!!! Yep this is what I call fun !!! Good thing it was 1 am and no one was around…I thought….. but alas… I was in Vegas !! The city where no one sleeps !! But actually truth be known… no one was hanging out at the airport so I don’t think anyone was near me with a camera in that wind.
I spent the night with Sue through the howling windstorm that lasted 2 days then made my way to the Hotel where the Iridology Conference was being held.
Once I finally got to the Hotel holding the Iridology conference at 5 :30 pm, they wouldn’t let me into the room because the friend I was sharing the room with (Kianna Smith) forgot to put my name on the room so they would not let me in and her flight wasn’t arriving until 10 pm.
On one hand I understood the rules… perhaps I was some kind of strange or estranged person trying to sneak into her room and do who knows what to her and she might walk in to find a stanger in her room… so while I understood…. I was tired and still trying to recover from the flight with my 6 pack of organic wine that I bought on the way to the hotel.
What to do until 11 pm …. hmmmm….. hmmm…. I tried to contact some of the other iridology instructors I knew to see if they were in their rooms and I would just go visit with them until Kianna arrived… but no one else had checked in. Well… there is only one thing to do in a case like that… get started on my case
Since they wouldn’t let me into the room there was no place else to set up my relaxation period except for the lobby.
So I sat with all of my luggage and bags of food I had brought to share with Kianna and my 6 pack case of wine ( it was on sale… 5 for the price of 6 !!) and piled my suitcases and set out my wine bottles and got a plastic cup and set myself up in the middle of the lobby and entertained myself.
My friends Ean Langille and Lynne Kildaw (Ean and Lynn are both Iridologists and Ean is a partner instructor with me on my iridology website) were staying someplace else but they stayed for awhile to keep me company.
After a few minutes, since we had so many other guests walking through wondering what we were doing there in the lobby, I thought… I know…. I can put up a sign to explain… Tarot readings and Wine $60.00. So I did !!!
We were having a pretty good time making do with my very public hotel “room” much to the dismay of the hotel staff, although I did not get any “customers.”
After about 2 hours of seeing that I was not going away and was fully intending to be there until 11 pm, they let me contact Kianna’s husband by phone to have him give me permission to check into the room
Moral of the story…. When you get given lemons…. Make wine and be happy !!!
