I recently had a client ask me about offering energy healing to assist in healing an animal, and if there is a right or wrong way. She was unsure of which method or training is the best. I told her that in my opinion, energy work is really about intent, and it is one’s intention that creates things to happen. I have found in my experience, there is no right or wrong way for anything… it is all about the intent of the person offering the energy healing.Lots of people teach and say that their way is the only way… but truly… everyone has their own spiritual purpose for being here and each purpose is different. Since we are all here for different reasons and many teachers are sincerely offering the information that they feel is the truth, I ask people to consider that what the teacher is teaching is the teacher’s truth.I include myself in this as well.

This makes the truth no less true, and it may very well be the student’s truth, but I encourage the students to try to feel into the information to know if it is their own truth as well.

You see, each teacher or persons offering of information will be based on their experience, and also what they have learned and what they believe in, up to that point.

So to them/us it feels that a certain way is the Truth and to them and for them/us… it is…. until they or we learn and accept something new into their/our belief system and reality.

So people offer what they “know” at any given time, and it is always subject to change.

The only real truth is intent… and your intent … where your hearts truth is, is what can allow you to accept or reject someone else’s information.

That is why it is so important to learn to be able to listen and feel with your heart.

I will offer an exercise here that I learned from one of my teachers, as a way to find the area of your body that tells you when you feel an untruth.  It is a beginning place to start to learn intuition until you can really listen to your heart.

 The Truth Exercise

Read this first a few times to get to get the hang of it ( I am going to pick 5 things I love.. You will replace those 5 things with 5 things you love) 

This actually works much better if you can get someone else to read this to you as you practice it.

It goes like this…  close your eyes and as I say this, replace my things I love with things you love. 

I love my husband…I love my dogs … I love chocolate … I love spring… I love flowers …

we will repeat these 3 times

Immediately after without stopping… we will repeat the same 5 things but saying ” I hate ………” those 5 things instead of I love,..

then again without stopping switch back to saying the 5 things you love 2 times. It is important to end by saying the  things you Love.

You will notice that when you say you hate the things you love, it will make you feel very uncomfortable in a certain part of your body… that is where your intuition …your “truth” resonates for you.

Once you find that place… you can find the answers to questions and begin to be able to “feel” what resonates for you… as a Truth. That part of your body is the area that warns you of an untruth.

 Then you can begin to practice much deeper awareness techniques to learn to listen to your Heart and be able to follow what your Heart tells you.
